Managers of restaurants would do good to visit the Trailside . The food is delicious and reasonable and the place is spotless . The booths are clean and offer a nice view , and though it gets crowded someone has clearly imparted to the staff the importance of politely serving the customers fast . I hesitate to even call this place a truckstop because it is cleaner than most Applebees or China Buffets I've visited . Stop in fuel and wash your car ( they have free papertowels at each pump ) . Get one of their specials ( I've never had one I didnt like ; Meatloaf , Hamballs , Stuffed Peppers all great ) or just get 3of their chicken tenders and a coke . And their restrooms are ALWAYS clean . Like cleaner than mine at home . Totally honest review from a hungry average joe that has yet to have an issue in 5+ yrs of regular visits . Trailside has their act together !

What I like here: - Big gas station, inside you find quite a nice variety of snacks and prepared foods to go - place to sit down, stretch your legs, empty your bladder and grab something to eat It is not a proper sit down restaurant, just a quick pit stop.

I've stopped at Martin's after a trip to Shady Maple a couple of times as it's the nearest gas station/truck stop and it's right up the road from Maple. Lots of pumps, the gas is never the cheapest but it's normally reasonably priced, lots of choices for food and drinks inside the store as well. Decent place for being in the middle of nowhere.

The 5 stars are for the fried chicken. Great taste with a nice crispy crunch. The store has about everything that you could need when traveling. Plenty of room at the pumps too.
